Work Focused Training

Work Focused Training provides support to give young people in long-term unemployment the opportunity to train in sectors that currently have a shortage of staff.

Work Focused Training is the training element of the Young Person's Guarantee. This programme offers young people the opportunity to work towards a qualification in a sector that they want to work in long term and to get a job. It enables customers to take the first, important step in the right direction to a career or further learning.

Whilst on the programme, all customers will benefit from access to work trials and placement opportunities in
their chosen sector, supported job search activity and the opportunity to achieve bite-size chunks of
accredited learning.

Intraining is one of the Work Focused Training contractors for the Counties and Cities of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.
