Community Task Force Phase 2

Community Task Force (CTF) is part of the wider Young Persons Guarantee focused on customers aged 18-24. CTF will offer up to a maximum of 6 months' quality work experience of benefit to the community, designed primarily to enhance the employability and work-related skills of participants, and increase their chances of entering sustained employment. In line with the direction of travel for welfare reforms, CTF should be flexible and tailored to the individual circumstances of the customer where possible.

Intraining are keen to receive the DWP Standard Information Sharing Template from any potential partners for CTF on or before the 19th February 2010 in the following Contract Package Areas [CPA]:-

  • Cumbria and Lancashire
  • Cheshire and Warrington
  • Halton and Merseyside
  • West Yorkshire
  • Northumbria, Gateshead, South Tyne and Wear Valley
  • Glasgow
  • Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex
  • Hampshire and Isle of Wight
  • Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire

Intraining is also interested in discussing partnership opportunities to act as a sub-contractor for CTF in a number of Contract Package Areas. Intraining has significant and substantial experience across a range of Welfare to Work programmes. Merged Programme and Problem Drug User Support Pilot

Intraining are seeking partners for the merged Programme which is based on progress2work and progress2workLinkUP and also, in selected English Jobcentre Plus Districts, the 2010 Problem Drug User Support Pilot. The contract period for the merged programme will be from October 2010 to October 2015, with the opportunity to extend for a further 24 months. The contract period for the Problem Drug User Support Pilot will be from October 2010 to October 2012.

Intraining are keen to receive, in the first instance, the DWP Standard Information Sharing Template on or before the 12th March 2010 for the following contract package areas:-

  • South East
  • East Midlands
  • Yorkshire and the Humber
  • North West
  • North East
