Shellie Shaw, 14-19 Year Old Achiever

14 year old Shellie signed up for a one day a week programme in business administration as part of her options at school. She wanted to find out more about what it was like to work in an office and to develop skills for employment after school.

Her training started with an induction that introduced Shellie to some basics about the workplace. The next step was a work placement where she developed some real life skills and experience.

Shellie did her work experience placement at Intrainings Sale office where she fast became a valued member of the team and built up good relationships with her colleagues.

Within a year Shellie completed her NVQ Level 1 in Business Administration. This achievement was in record time and demonstrates her hard work, dedication and commitment.

Nearly 16, Shellie is now ready to leave school. The skills and confidence she has gained will help her in the world of work.
