Donna Bond, Pathways to Work Achiever

45 year old Donna began working with Intraining through New Deal for Disabled People, having recently been diagnosed with arthritis and struggling with a number of other health related issues. In May 2008 she signed up for Pathways to Work and with the help of her adviser, she applied for jobs caring for young adults. After two interviews, Donna was offered both jobs and chose the one that suited her personal situation to works full-time as carer to a young adult.

Donna was presented with the Pathways to Work Most Potential Achiever Award for her determination and commitment in overcoming arthritis, her dyslexia and other barriers.
