Employers in Leicester will be given the opportunity to showcase their vacancies and meet potential employees at a jobs fair to be held by Intraining on 4 September.
The free event will take place at the offices of the leading national training and employability provider (Humberstone House, 81 Humberstone Gate) from 10 am.
Craig Blakeway, Employer Engagement Consultant at Intraining, said: “Although unemployment figures are high there are still many employers looking to fill vacancies and the jobs fair will provide a great way for them to get in front of a high number of potential candidates.
“We’re hopeful that the day will result in jobseekers being offered interviews which will eventually lead to them filling their vacant positions.”
During the event Intraining advisers will be on hand to offer employers advice about recruitment and training.
