The Teaching Agency has announced that it will be issuing invitations to tender at the end of November 2012 for the National Initial Teacher Training Provider for the Teach First Programme 2013/14
to 2015/16. The Teach First Leadership Development Programme is an established route to Qualified Teacher Status and a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE).

The Skills Funding Agency has announced that it will be issuing invitations to tender early December 2012 for the delivery of ESF (Priority 2) funded provision. The invitations to tender will be for the delivery of skills support for the workplace through Apprenticeships and related work place learning. Provision is expected to be delivered from April 2013 until July 2015. The Skills Funding Agency are working with the National Apprenticeship Service to develop an enhanced approach to the procurement of this provision to ensure that successful providers are best placed to address local skills needs.
